En Pirámide del Sol, Sebastián Thomas se adentra en la utopía de un arquitecto que, a finales de los años setenta, quiso replicar la ancestral Pirámide del Sol de Teotihuacán en pleno Santiago de Chile, transformándola en un centro comercial visionario. Construido en 1979, este edificio postmoderno ?uno de los llamados caracoles comerciales? fue durante décadas un hito arquitectónico audaz. Hoy resiste frente al avance de nuevos modelos comerciales y a una ciudad cada vez más homogénea, que amenaza con borrar su singularidad. Entre 2022 y 2023, Thomas recorrió sus pasillos en espiral para retratar a los comerciantes y trabajadores que aún lo habitan.
