First Published in 1999. Odysseus Elytis (1911-1996) was born in Crete, and published his first poems in 1935. He established himself as one of the leading figures in the 'Generation of the Thirties'.  This book is illustrated with ten colour reproductions of collages and paintings by Elytis as well as selected writings.
