This book aims to highlight twelve selected works in the recent career of this architect born in Vila Real, who graduated from ESBAL in 1979. This edition is interesting because of the fact that a number of guest authors, including a philosopher, an artist, a poet and several architects, were each invited to visit, examine and comment one of these twelve works. The seed for this monograph was sown by a conversation between Belm Lima and the architecture critic Jorge Figueira, which was the starting point for all the reflections. The contributions are by Ana Vaz Milheiro, Joo Miguel Fernandes Jorge, Rui Chafes, Susana Camanho and Emdio Agra, Filomena Molder, Joaquim Pais de Brito, Bernardo Pinto de Almeida and Jorge Figueira.
