Two killings, 500 miles apart, seem unconnected. A girl s body is discovered in a doorway in London, and another body is found in Dundee, Scotland. When the Scottish body mysteriously vanishes from the mortuary, Police Scotland washes their hands of the investigation. Given that the murdered girl in Scotland had recently traveled from London, DCI Steve Burt is assigned both cases.
