An excellent novel. The premise of the book is a mistaken belief that a family member died and the ramifications for the family. The interchanging points of view from the supposedly decesased mother and her daughter highlight many other lies that have governed the conduct of this family. The discovery and the shedding of the lies lead to a renewed family strength while the plot makes the book a page turner. A very enjoyable and enlightening read.
